Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital was first founded in 1936 as an affiliated clinic of Jiangsu Provincial Medical College. It is also referred to as Jiangsu Red Cross Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. This Grade 3A hospital is all-inclusive. The National Health Commission announced on December 4, 2018, that it is one of the first pilot hospitals for multidisciplinary cancer diagnosis and treatment.
